Acquire knowledge, it enables its professor to distinguish right from wrong; it lights the way to heaven. It is our friend in the desert, our company in solitude and companion when friendless. It guides us to happiness, it sustains us in misery, it is an ornament amongst friends and an armour against enemies.

Allah will not give mercy to anyone, except those who give mercy to other creatures.

Verily! The worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are those who do not use reason.

And whenever you give your word, say the truth.

And seek help in patience and prayer.

Verily! Allaah commands that you should render back the trusts to those to whom they are due.

Eat and drink, but waste not by extravagance.

And take a provision (with you) for the journey, but the best provision is al-taqwa (piety, righteousness)

And whosoever fears Allaah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty) .

Do not squander one another’s wealth in vanities, but let there be amongst you traffic and trade by mutual good will.

God does not forbid you to be kind and equitable to those who have neither fought against your faith nor driven you out of your homes. In fact God loves the equitable.

Pay attention to Allaah and He will pay attention to you.

If you feel no shame, then do as you wish.

Fear Allaah wherever you may be.

Follow up a bad deed with a good deed, to cancel it out.

Mix with people with a good attitude.

Be content with what Allaah has given you, and you will be the richest of people.

Fear Allaah and treat all your children fairly.

Do not become angry, and Paradise will be yours.

The most beloved of deeds to Allaah is the one that is continuous, even if it is little.

Hold to forgiveness; command what is right; But turn away from the ignorant.

TO God belongs the East and the West, Wheresoever you look is the face of God.

Forgive him who wrongs you; join him who cuts you off; do good to him who does evil to you, and speak the truth although it be against yourself.

The best of God’s servants are those who, when seen, remind one of God; and the worst of God’s servants are those who carry tales about to do mischief and separate friends, and seek for the defects of the good.

The three best things: to be humble amidst the vicissitudes of fortune; to pardon when powerful; and to be generous with no strings attached.

Believe in your Lord completely (and perfectly). And follow not the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.

Let not your own hands contribute to your destruction. And do good; indeed, Allah loves those who do good.

And remember when your Lord proclaimed: ‘If ye are grateful, surely We will increase you [in favor]. But if ye show ingratitude, indeed, the punishment is severe’

Show forgiveness;Enjoin kindness; And turn away from ignorance.

Every believer who consoles his brother in distress will be dressed by God in an apparel of honor on the Day of Resurrection.

The best charity is that given to a relative who does not like you.

A man has sinned enough if he neglects to feed those in need.

The Best earning is, earning from a man’s work with his hands and every (lawful) business transaction.

A believing man should not hate a believing woman. If he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another.

He will not enter Paradise whose neighbour is not secure from his wrongful conduct.

If anyone continually asks pardon, God will appoint for him a way out of every distress, and a relief from anxiety, and will provide for him from where he did not reckon.

Do not turn away a poor man. even if all you can give is half a date. If you love the poor and bring them near you…GOD will bring you near HIM on the Day of Resurrection.

Son, if you are able, keep your heart..free from malice toward anyone.

Seven kinds of people will be sheltered under the shade of God on the Day of Judgment…They are: a just ruler, a young man who passed his youth in the worship and service of others for the sake of God…a man who is invited to sin…but declines, saying ‘I fear God’…one who spends his charity in secret, without making a show…and one who remembers God in solitude so that his eyes overflow.

Avoid jealousy, for it destroys good deeds as fire destroys wood.

Anyone who believes in God and the Last Day (of Judgment) should not harm his neighbor. Anyone who believes in God and the Last Day should entertain his guest generously. And anyone who believes in God and the Last Day should say what is good or keep quiet.

Do not ridicule others, perhaps they may be better than you. And do not insult one another, nor call each other by offensive names.

Righteousness is not in turning your faces towards East or West (in prayers).
Indeed, righteousness means having faith in Allah, and helping relatives, orphans, the needy and the wayfarer.
Indeed, righteousness lies in setting slaves free, establishing prayer and helping others.
Indeed, righteous are those who keep their word, and enjoin patience during poverty and hardship.
